Heyz,

First off all... nice vacation overthere... I hope you have the same weather like we had... Where are you staying on the island?

When I was in Tenerife I went to Club Waïkiki, a slotclub in Santa Cruz. It wasn't open at the moment I was there. But there was a plan to a nearby shop. I went there (it opens at 5 in the afternoon) and it was like a small toystore, but it had quite a lot of slotcars and accesoires... The lady behind the counter speaks only spanish (and I don't)... so I couldn't ask her much.

I also went to a big Toys'R'Us nearby Santa Cruz (next to a Shoppingcenter and a Decathlon), and they had lots of slot-stuff overthere. The average price for a car is 30 euro.

I bought myself a new Scx (Scalextic overthere) Seat Toledo ETCC and a Fly Belcar Marcos. (will post pictures tonight, I'm "@ work" at the moment... hehe...)

Don't forget that the SRA range of buildings is still available in resin. The Pit Building comprises a 2-car garage with a hospitality suite above it. You can now buy the individual components seperately, so you could have a garage unit with a roof, a ground-floor hospitality unit with a roof, a multi-storey hospitality building, the original garage with hospitality unit above, or put 2 or more hospitality units above the garage - the permutations are (almost!) endless!!

As seen at the Phoenix circuit, you can put lights inside both the garage and hospitality unit - creates a great effect!

More SRA pewter figures are also on their way - keep watching!

It drives very well also...

But it's just a bit to slow to go along with the Fly ETCC's...
I think i'm gonna put a stronger motor in it... something that equals the Fly Racing motors...

You could try the SCX Motor Pro Turbo Plus

On my SCX Mitsu I replaced the motor with the SCX 4x4 Pro Turbo : now it is even a few faster than my Ninco Suby

...
