Hi all, I saw this list of track parts on the Policar website. The analog crossover track is new to me, has anyone already seen these irl?

Yes I have :D
We are working on that, and on the R1 22.5° as well.

Haha, excellent. Looking forward to it.
Hmm...I understood from the outset that things like chicanes and crossovers would not be manufactured because they were in the realm of 'toys' and not serious enough!

Any chance of single lane curves or do I have to take a hacksaw to my 2-lane curves?
The analog crossovers are often used in Rally tracks, so they make sense. Single lane curves can be used to make a rally loop, because the Ninco’s are hard to find so it would not surprise me went they will be made as well.
Nice to see the developments at Policar.

What I am looking forward to is a an timing set for analogue racing. Just like the scalextric arc.
I am not sure that policar is working on a home timing system like the arc. Or at least I am not aware of any.
I wonder if the digital crossovers will be compatible with Scalextric digital, if so I see some home brew scalextric digital / Policar digital track
I managed to source a 'real crossover'! A Fleischmann crossroads from Germany. Coupled with four Policar-to-Fleischmann track pieces it's perfect for my new 'industrial' track area before heading out to farm and forest.

I think Maurizio said a while back that they were working on a fairly basic, dead-spot timing system, to work in conjunction with a mobile phone app.

Would be great if that was the case.

Indeed, you can integrate all vintage Fleischmann track parts in a Policar track, including those brilliant Fleischmann 70's banked curves. And let's not forget the vintage Polistil track parts, that's also a goldmine of lovely track pieces - Polistil manufactured an ultra wide 5 degree curve (curve radius over 2m.) , an analogue pitlane... and Polistil fits just like Fleischmann.

That would be nice....but it would require a BT module in the track (not that hard) to connect to the smartphone and an app (this might be trickier).
