All being well I should be there. Currently finishing off a Revel DTM kit to fit on the TSRF and will be entering the limited motor F1 class as well. Currently the Oaklands club have four members with hardbody cars for that class and probably the same number of Falcon-powered F1s.
I have an old BSCRA type F1 chassis i bought from a club mate inn the early 80's and have swapped the Group 20 armature for a Hornet so I could run it in the limited motor class but unfortunately, I haven't had time to do a body for it.
Guess who forgot his digital camera? Oh well, if I'd remembered that I would probably have forgotten my controller or cars or something in it's place!
A good fun day out, nice track and club room.
Hardbody turnout was better than I expected and there wasn't the deluge of shattered plastic and shedding external detail that I had predicted. I even used a static kit conversion on my TSRF and it failed to disintergrate!
I assume Andy Brown-Searle will have photos on his website before long.
