All of the new D132 equipment is shipped with a new connection track piece. This new piece has a set of arrows and indications on top to ensure correct polarity connections, and features four connection points for accessories.

Can we source an appropriate plug to allow these ports to be used as power taps for extension of power from one section of track to another?

I've been thinking excactly the same

I have not found a universal connector that fit yet, but hope to find something that can be used

Carrera should really look into making power tap and extension cables for the connection pieces.

The conductive portion of the plug is simply PC board in construction. The hood is plastic, but I am sure we could find someone around here with a makerbot who could fabricate some duplicates.....
