After lots of reconsideration, I decided to remove the Powerbase Pro (digital/one lane analog) from my "Pont des Miolans" routed digital track. It worked fine, but it's really too small and tight a track to run more than two cars anyway. In addition, I'm trying to sell the track to make room for my new project and the digital aspect of the track just seems to add an unnecessary complication. As an analog track, it will be simple and easier to sell (I hope).

Just curious, is anyone still using the Powerbase Pro? Would anyone be interested in purchasing it? Or, are people only using the advanced Powerbase now?

Well a couple of years ago I would have jumped at this but have since bought one so I must pass.

These are still a good deal for someone on a budget or those of us with the RichG lap tower ... and the SSDC software still works with it. A good PB for a club, too, I have heard.

Don't let anyone tell you that they are useful as boat anchors!

Cheers!

I have two PB-Pro SH units and an APB. I plan to keep them all. They're not worthless, but their value has decreased somewhat since the APB came out. Take a look at the guide for performing the two lane analog mod. If you think you can handle it, then do it. Worst case scenario is you end up buying the APB you thought you might end up buying anyway.
