Hey Guys,

I built my 1911 ITALA from a Ferrero Roche chocolate box, in order to get the curve of the bonnet.

Just get a Model Cars Prototype Parade drawing, then scribe it on the FR plastic lid, then cut it out and join together.

Conceal the join with a "supposed hinge" and "Voila".

Good enough to win Concourse D' Elegance at Wolves in 2008 !!.

Sometimes, it is looking and finding a source of "bits" that wins the day.

The Itala is 3rd piccie up from the bottom !!.

Also in there amongst some fine cars is my "Mercedes Runabout", 6th from bottom !!.
