The new track is now operational so we will be open next Wednesday for practise/test session and to rubber in the new circuit prior to the last Goodwood Cup race the week after.

Bring along any cars you wish to test as there will be no 'formal class' practise. Thanks. Mike

Thanks to everyone who came along tonight to rubber in the new track. I thought the new track performed very well with only a couple of small glitches which were quickly sorted for the evening.

The lap times tumbled as the track rubbered in from 15.40 down to 9.40 set by Andy

and shows great potential for the forthcoming Open Meetings planned for the new year. Unfortunately not all members were able to make it but 17 drivers laid down the rubber ready for the last round of 'The Goodwood Cup' for next week.

Looking at tonights lap times i think that a high 8 second lap is on the cards in the forthcoming weeks.
