Wow, what a great night at Presto Park for the first race night on our new circuit. The track ran faultlessly all night except for the power cut but fortunately we had a back up program so we didn't lose the race data in the computer. To say i was pleased is an understatement as it's a big responsibility building a new track and club room.
Thanks to so many of you who said what a great circuit it is and how much you like the new club room it makes all the hard work worth while, but credit for the track design must go to Peter who had an idea of what everyone wanted and incorporated all you asked for into our new circuit.
Alan particulary wanted a S bend which is now called the 'Seymour Swerve' and as if by magic a corner sign has appeared with Seymour on it followed by his South African flag,

just in case he misses SA. We try to please at Presto.
The standard saloon cars ran very well tonight and whilst the track is still quite green lap times started to tumble after a few heats as the track rubbered in.
It was nice to see Dan at Presto Park and i hope we see more of him in the future. Glad you liked the track Dan.
