Tonight saw the F1/Indy cars in action on the new Presto circuit with Jim setting a very impressive time of 7.100 secs on green lane in the heats.

No one was able to better this time but several came quite close with 7.300's. The track has started to rubber in nicely so the grip levels were good which translated into quick lap times.
Tonights attendance was lower than usual with only 12 drivers attending. The final results were as follows:-

This Friday sees a visit to Presto Park by Salvatore and Giovani from NSR, Italy so I hope to see many of you at the club Friday evening to welcome them. The opportunity to speak to these guys don't come along very often so that will be your chance to pick their brains and improve your cars performance and set ups.
Next Wednesday is Pro Sports/Gt so i guess the current lap record will be smashed again.
