the standard racing voltage depends on the motor. I will run all cars @ 12V, SCX and Carrera motors @15V, [email protected], [email protected]

concours de elegance: the best looking car will be voted by the host and get a special price.

wide open rules again, ladies and gentleman, so build your fastest, smoothest 1/43rd car for this race. just tune your stock SCX car a little and maybe blow the doors off all others, built something that was not seen before, it´s up to you.
Who will have the fastest car?

list of prizes by now:

have fun, Peter

p.s.: please use boxes that can be used for return shipping as well. and please calculate for some prizes and goodies to be added as well ;-)

I'm in! I've made some big improvements in my wheels, and now I know I need to glue the tires on. Should see a major improvement over the last outing.

first cars to arrive at the Desmo for the race ...

Eliano´s Renault is back on the track, after breakdown last year it is anxious for this years race!

Claus sent some nice cars with big amounts of brass placed low this year. The Mini will not run in the race, but wanted to meet some cousins.

No time for laps by now, but it will come!

As every entrant to the ProNoMag this year gets a BARC motor back with his cars, there will be a BARC-Challenge next year - an own class inside the ProNoMag.
As Dan sponsored the motors, i´m throwing in the option to get a 3D printed sidewinder chassis for the motor for free - just specify the measurements!

Stupid question;

Parma controllers got brake wire right, so in the race is the brake plugged to the the track or no brakes from the controller?

Normally, the brakes are active for all cars.

However some cars with short gearing and heavy braking, i sometimes disconnect the brakes and see if i get better handling and/or laptimes.

I can even add a 25ohm potentiometer for adjustable braking, if necessary.

Daniels cars arrived today. Great looking cars and guessing from last years entries, they will run well, too!
Daniel also entered a BARC powered car - the Lambo with a nice sidewinder chassis under it.
The Porsche is a beauty on the track!
and the FXX - i remember last years Ferrari only too well - fast, really fast.

Many thanks for Heller kit - a nice Citroen Rally car. During an Artin proxy race series with cars from Canada, USA, GB and Austria, i had this car on the track - unexpetedly mind blowing fast!
