Hi guys, I wanted to know if any of you could give your opinions on the ProSlot cars. I like the 911's and a couple other cars they made. I know they dont make them anymore but is the quality of them good? Do they have any certain problems or issues? They seem to be had for pretty cheap now and thought they might be a good car to run around the track without having to worry about tearing it up. Thanks

It's an old question; Proslot cars are among the most used in our club, because are easily modified and not so fragile as others ( btw they are not so beautiful as others !!); we change motors ( with V12 29000K or Scaleauto 35000K), gears ( Slot.it or NSR), wheels (slot.it/NSR/shockslot ) and tyres ( ninco competition/ NSR magnetic/proslot); of course no magnet, but a small quantity of lead to balance.
We also glue the motor to the chassis to reduce resonances; in sidewinders, as alfa 156, ferrari and porsche here the pros use also to sand the motor mount and angle it toward the gear, in order to use a lower gear ratio ( more brake power)
Very recommended cars for runners!!
( no shelf queens )

I agree with Sprint

Proslot / Policar Porsche 911 GT2 has won our clubs GT class in 2002, 2003 and 2004 is nearly completed

Very nice car which is easy to tune up and a blast to drive. Slot-It parts with Cartrix 1124 tyres make wonders to happen
