G'day Guys,
Just a short post to let any Aussie visitors to Slot Forum know that there is a new 1/32 scale association kicking off in Queensland, Australia.
Q32 is aimed primarily at the 1/32 racing enthusiast, with clubs across Southern Queensland holding regular race meets.
The variety of venues for meetings is fast reaching the ''staggering'' stage, with new tracks coming on-line regularly (1/32 racing IS BOOMING in Southern Queensland!).
There is something to cater for all tastes, from a 45 metre four lane Ninco layout to a mobile four lane routed board track!
We are hoping to have a calendar organized for club racing during the 2004 season in the next few weeks. There will be a number of ''special interest'' trophy meets at member clubs during the year, giving Q32 members a chance to catch up with each other over the course of a year (for those of us that live outside Brisbane and surrounding suburbs).
We hope to keep Q32 a laid back, informal style of association, free from pseudo-political types that tend to enter the ''picture'' from time to time.
Q32 association members are currently working on a dedicated website for the association, MILLENNIUM RACEWAY will post updates/contact info on it's site until the Q32 site is up and running.
For those interested in learning more about Q32, please contact me via the Millennium Raceway link at the bottom of the post or on phone (07) 46981559.
Or:- Contact our Brisbane co-ordinator at [email protected] or phone (07) 38227003.
Best Wishes,
Rob Wessling.
