Hi

I've just had donated a couple of Ford Escort Cosworth 1:32 Scalextric cars, which if I remember correctly were sold as part of a set in the early 1990s (possibly 1992/1993).

The cars seem to work fine, but they are missing the guide blades / braids. Can someone advise me on the parts that I'd need to track down for these to get them on track?

Hi Matt, welcome.
Search Ebay (or elsewhere) for "C8071". Although not exactly the same as the originals I think they are a replacement for them and they come complete with braids and pins.

You need some black easifit guide blades which come with the braids already fitted, the same as fitted to all scaley cars made in the 90's. Try contacting your local scaley retailer or an online retailer such as Pendles and Scale Models, they won't be expensive.
