The Mirage was disqualified from Le Mans, 1982, with a few minutes to go before the race, allegedly for a minor technical infringement, while the Rondeau suffered largely from aero design problems that significantly slowed the car down. Just two more sad automotive tales in the history of sports car racing.

Betta & Classic do a vac formed Rondeau. It's not very close to scale as it's designed for BSCRA type racing.I agree, John. Both are interesting cars, and I suspect that the Mirage would have done well. I've never seen a slot model of either.
