Hi all; a question for slot club racers and owners: what are your rules for race marshals during competitions?
I know, if a car hit another , then the innocent has the priority; but if a car deslot and another hit it, is the same thing? I want to say that there is a responsibility also of the incoming pilot, who didn't see the obstacle; if a marshal has already touched the deslotted car, and another hit it in the meantime, what he must do? Leave the first and take the other? In our club when the hottest racers go, there is an endless complain
: me first!, leave the other there!, I have the precedence! and so on
. Time flows very quickly when you are racing!
I would like a definitive set of rules for marshals.
Your experiences, from all the world, will be greatly appreciated

At our club the cause of the crash gets put back on last. If another car hits a disabled car then thats the fault of the driver who has just crashed into the car that is already off. in other words you should be looking and not crash into a car that is off.

Hi Ciao

We work on the rule that the car that causes the accident goes on last....... Some accident just can't be avoided... so the car that came out first and caused the accident gets marshalled last.......

If a driver is half the track away and then hits a car that is off.... that's his fault and he goes on last.....

The drivers have to pay attention to what is going on around the track... and the driver that come off should call out that he is off to give the other drivers a heads up......

In our racing if a driver comes off he shouts out that he off and what lane his car belongs in (yes we also use colored stickers on the car too) ..... It some times helps to get the marshals attention and warns others that he is off.....

But we do not allow drivers to scream at the marshals and we expect a nice thank you after he does his job......

Screaming at the marshal on my track gets you a one lap penilty........

Thank you jonny s and JBriggs; what you have said is precisely what I think;
my purpose is to hear the opinions of many slotters of various countries, so my club fellows could see and hopefully follow the right way to race.
