It was back to Dave's track on Thurs the 11th It was also Ed's first race night since the 16th of June at George's place and he was hungry for a win!

There was a great turnout of racers, with Ronan (me), Dave, Ed, Bryan, George, Karl, Peter and Stephen all making it out on the night.

The first race was Bryan's pick and he went for Fly Trucks or similar:

Bryan was on yellow (black SISU), Karl was on red (SCX Mercedes), Peter was on blue (white SISU) and Stephen was on silver (another black SISU).

The result was:

1. Stephen +Fastest Lap (+FL)
2. Karl
3. Bryan
4. Peter

The second race was my pick (Ronan) and I went for TransAm type cars:

Ronan was on yellow (black and gold Pioneer Mustang), Bryan was on red (black/gold Scalextric Mustang), Stephen was on blue (Scalextric Truxmore Gran Torino) and George was on silver (blue Scalextric Mustang).

The result was:

1. Ronan +FL
2. George
3. Stephen
4. Bryan

The third race was George's pick and he went for DTM/Touring cars:

George was on yellow (Ninco Audi A4), Dave was on red (red Ninco Alfa 155), Ed was on blue (Ninco Martini Alfa 155) and Ronan was on silver (SCX Mercedes C-Class).

The result was:

1. Ed +FL
2. Dave
3. George
4. Ronan

The fourth race was Karl's pick and he went for DTM/Touring cars again:

Karl was on yellow (Ninco Martini Alfa 155), Peter was on red (Ninco Megane), Bryan was on blue (Ninco Mercedes C-Class) and Dave (red Ninco Alfa 155) was on silver.

The result was:

1. Dave +FL
2. Bryan
3. Karl
4. Peter

The fifth race was Dave's pick and he went for touring cars (again! A lot of touring car racing on the night!):

Dave was on yellow (SCX Honda Accord), Ronan was on red (SCX Mercedes C-Class DTM), George was on blue (SCX Volvo) and Karl was on silver (not sure, a Fly Alfa??? Ed will be able to tell me!).

The result was:

1. Ronan +FL
2. Karl
3. George
4. Dave

The sixth race was Peter's pick and he went for Fly Classics or similar:

Peter was on yellow (Fly Porsche 908/2), Stephen was on red (Fly Gulf Porsche 917K, which had rear tyres that were more square than round! A bit of tyre truing and it would be a quick car), Karl was on blue (Fly Porsche 908/3) and Ed was on Silver (Spirit Ferrari 512M).

The result was:

1. Ed +FL
2. Karl
3. Peter
4. Stephen

The seventh race was Ed's pick and he went for TransAm type cars:

Ed was on yellow (Scalextric Corvette L88), George was on red (blue Scalextric Mustang), Ronan was on red (black and gold Pioneer Mustang fastback) and Peter was on silver (Scalextric L88 Corvette rebel flag).

The result was:

1. Ed +FL
2. Ronan
3. George
4. Peter

The eighth and last race of the night was Stephen's pick and he went for NASCARs:

Stephen was on yellow (Sharpie), Ed on red (Du Pont), Dave on blue (McD's) and Bryan on silver (Tide).

The result was:

1. Ed +FL
2. Stephen
3. Bryan
4. Dave

The final results were:

1st Ed with a perfect 16 points, very impressive as usual (of course he won't let any of us forget it!)
2nd Ronan with 12
3rd Karl with 11
4th Stephen with 10
=5th Dave and George with 9
6th Bryan with 8
7th Peter with 5

Have to work hard next time out on my track to see if Ed can be beaten (will be hard as he is on a roll again...!)

Quite - although it is possible at times. Just had a good night and after 2 months of travelling Europe following GT and Sportscar racing it was good to be back
