Oooooooooooooooohhh.

Very very nice.

Please tell me I don't have to sell the kids to buy one.

Not a great Ferrari fan but this one is off the scale.

Want one

Excellent! Nice to see that Mr. Magoo is gone from the drivers seat.

Can anyone tell me why some 512's had open tops? I would think that they would be more aerodynamic with a roof on?

Just a guess, but I reckon it would have got extremely hot in the cockpit and when racing in warm locations (like Sebring) it might have been nice to have a bit more ventilation...

As it was, a hard-top actually won that race in Sebring, but that could be because both open tops dropped out (gearboxes I seem to remember). The #19 was on pole though.

According to a big German importer/reseller and a big Spanish shop the next one is in the pipeline, the beautiful yellow/green "Ferrari 512 Escuderia Montjuich 24h LeMans 1970 J. Juncadella / J. Fernandez", code is RCR66.

I am really looking forward to this one, not sure if I'm allowed a link to a web shop but I'm sure you can find your own pictures
