I think you'll find they have shut up shop for good.

Great shame as I wanted to make the trip to Las Vagas one day for their annual race meeting. I understand this will in future be held in Arizona.

I understand it will be held on April 15-17 at Bob Scott's Crusin track in Chandler AZ. just outside Phoenix near the airport.

The Good Doctor P. or Prof Fate may be able to tell you more.

It just so happens I have a cousin in Pheonix so maybe it's time for a visit?

Excellent! My inlaws live in Phoenix so I go there quite often.

That´s to bad! I was just ready to order two slot cars from them that I can´t find somewhere else! Anyone from the states that can help me and check if they have these two cars left?

It's not likely. I just returned from Las Vegas and a trip to RadTrax confirmed that they are indeed on their last legs. Very little rolling stock left now, mostly parts and pieces. If you're in the market for replacement spares and you know exactly what you want, I'd suggest calling or e-mailing. It's very sad for me, as I really did enjoy going to RadTrax for the conventions. A great loss to the hobby.

Hi

They became dependant on mail order sales. They had a huge catalog system with everything instock listed, and automatically deleated when sold. This ment that you could not order stuff that wasnt in stock. Very cool.

A few months ago, their server crashed hard, taking out the entire catalog AND backups. For about 2 months, there was no way to order from them. Cash flow came to a stop. Costs did not.

They could not survive that.

In the U.S. most commercial slot car tracks are in less than desirable places. for the cheap rent. Rad was in a very upscale strip mall and was paying, purportedly, $10,000 rent a month. Sigh. Lots of employees that had a quick turn around(usually in the US, a monday order online got you the stuff by Wednesday mail).
