Heres a question for you all.
As i browse the forum i see a lot of ID 's related to cars.
I was just wondering if their are petrol heads as well as slot heads out there?

So i thiught it would be interesting to see what real cars people drive?

Me
I drive a SEAT Toledo V5 (Compromise i wanted a Skoda vRS the wife wanted something less manic)
A 91model Landie Defender 90 to tow the jetski with, which i sold a westie to buy.(not a dog).

Come on let us all know

Currently in the drive are two Lexus; a RX300 for her and an LS430 for him, but that will change on a regular (weekly usually) basis.

Rover Mini City 1.3 litres of pure muscle

Managed to fit me, the wife, a 3 yr and all our luggage for a holiday in Tuscany so we thought why bother with anything else. I do look a bit of a giant in it being 185cm and 95kg but we are readily recognisable!

Mitsubishi Shogun GLS 3.5 V6 24 valve LWB. (a Pajero for the non Brits here)

And a 50cc Scooter moped thingy.

I am not entirely happy about Chancelor Gordon Brown's latest plans for fuel prices.

Moped

PS shall I change my name to Shogun Rider?

It sounds rather good don't you think?

Speaking as a Brit,

I feel the Chancellors ideas do not go far enough or high enough

Any other Expats wish to agree?

As a one small car family whose fuel bill a year ago was £40 a week and now is under £10 a week I say hit em hard and get those monster cars with 1 person off the road!!!

however when I change job and need a car for work I reserve the right to change that opinion.

Good choice Moped!

But we're blamed as single Monster-car drivers
- this means the cars or the drivers are Monsters?

Him, weekdays - Toyota Camry V6

Him, weekends - FD-3 RX-7 Twin Turbo, lowered, stiffened, K&N input, slightly modified output. That all makes me a close friend of the local petrol station owner

QUOTE for her Lexus LS430

for him Lexus LX470

Ah, you trumped me there Iceman. We don't import the LX470, just the Land Cruiser version. I borrowed a GX470 on holiday in New England. V nice with that engine, but again we only import 4.0 litre V6 or 3.0 diesels. That's what fuel at £4 ($6) a gallon will do for you.
