Been after one of these for a while, especially one needing a bit of tlc.
Chrome work had worn off and it looked very plastic.

after a strip down and a re-paint. Plus a few new decals.

The car overall was in great condition, even the braids were fine. The chrome on the rear wheels was ok but the fronts and the grill had all but vanished.
I don't like the see through plastic bodies too, much prefer a coat of paint and some clear coat.

With regards to the faded chrome, I have one just the same, it came to me that way, it looked to me like it had been left in direct sunlight, only the one side was affected. I have four in quite poor condition waiting for me to learn some painting skills. Kindest Regards Jason
