Hi everyone,

Here is our Season Finale for 2019 - The Haktona 200. The track is a combination of the Pocono and Daytona circuits. In the spirit of Nascar we ran the track counter-clockwise. We race a combination of GT3, DTM, and LMS cars all made by Carrera.

For some reason my go pro kept overheating. I wish I knew that before I purchased it... As such it broke our races into shorter segments.

For our final races we also had the participants walk over to the kitchen to do a shot of Cherry Whiskey, Sambuca, and Apple Juice (for my son). This idea was taken from the HO Indy Slot Car League.

The room is very loud especially when we race. We get pretty excited when we come off track but we all mean well.

It was a great season with lots of laugh. Congrats to Lance for winning the Season. Kieran was in 2nd. Darren was third. Thanks for watching!

Hi everyone,

Here is a link to the races captured on the first race for the 2020 season, The Loch Ness Monster Circuit. This season we decided to all run DTM cars to help balance the car performance. We run mostly stock Carrera Digital 1:32 setups with Paul Gage tires allowed.

We captured Heat Race A, B, C, and also the Final Race. Congrats to Henning on his first win. Henning will absolutely need to get a DTM car now.

It seemed we were plagued with non-stop technical issues; track building, pit stop problems, and a few smart race glitches. As such this wasn't exactly our best camera work (sorry).

I am positive our next event will be much smoother.

Hi everyone,

Our last league race was in February 2019 so it has felt like an eternity...
Race III of Season II takes us to the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal. This track was designed by our last race winner, Darren H.

This video contains a full compilation of the race events for the day.

As we had a small turnout we did not use qualifying and instead everyone drove 5 heat races against one or two opponents. Each race was an 8 min timed event. We then did a tally of total laps for a bowling style elimination bracket. We had quite a few glitches with the Carerra software. In the end we found it was a malfunctioning wireless controller (dongle). Thankfully we were able to sort this out for our next event which will hopefully have more participants.

Trent had to leave early and Dwayne decided not to race in the elimination.

In the end I faced Lance for the final showdown. Lance went off the track continuously for the first part of the race. Slowly with lap times almost five tenths quicker he caught up and took the race with +7 laps.

Most of the races have the statistics from the SmartRace program we used for data.

Hi everyone,

After a long hiatus we are finally back to racing.

This time using Carrera Digital 132 Ford GTY cars. All cars were turned identically with stock tires.

Lots of fun had by all even though we had no end of issues with our bluetooth and wireless connections.

SmartRace also gave us some grief that we hopefully can sort out before next race.

As the last two years have been quite the **** show the Track was named the Regina DP with a Twist.
