Decided I'd have a crack at the Fitzpatrick Escort that Scalextric seem adamant not to release and have just bought one of these as the base car.
As I am completely useless at painting I want to avoid that at all cost so question is how do I remove the Tampo printed blue RS stripes from this car without spoiling the lovely white paintwork?
Tried to do a similar job on a Uniflo Escort using T-cut and all was going well until I rubbed a bit too hard (oooer missus) on a stubborn bit of black Tampo and rubbed through the top coat.
Is T-cut the way to go or is there something else that will shift Tampo without buggering up the paint?
Many thanks.

PS tried a Google search for "Removing Tampo" and it just wanted to tell me about lady things that men need not know about..
