Some modern Scalex and Pioneer tampo comes off with your fingernail if the stuff is printed on over the clear topcoat. It's truly rubbish.

I pulled off a load of a Pioneer Mustang using nothing more than silver fabric duct-tape (aka duck tape)

Otherwise just use T-Cut and a cotton bud and simply don't rub so hard.
