THAT IS AWESOME!!!! Now I understand why I needed 3 excel pages to calculate the TDV :)

Although I love my Spa inspired digital race track, I am also a rally fan and have a small rally section incorporated in the track. Now that I see this I really need more rally track !

I'm glad you're impressed, gentlemen. :)

The track was inspired by a quote about the Tour De Corse, by Jari-Matti Latvala IIRC, "If you're on a straight and it's more than 200mtrs long, you're on the wrong island". ..........Or something like that.

Ummm you've gone and made me toy with ripping mine all up and just doing a rally track, that looks so good, but I must resist, I love my Japanese GT cars too.

On another note I took magnets out of two cars today, oh so much more fun, definitely better, speed is far more realistic and seeing your track brings it home even more.

Nice one

Stu,

that's an awesome track mate, love the elevation changes and the single lane bits.
that must be a blast to run on, do you have any trouble with the start ramp etc not recognising some types of guide?

I did. Especially with non- or low-mag cars. I ditched the reed switch and replaced it with modified Scalextric Sport analogue electronic lap counters. Yes, counters!.......... I've got 3 at different points around the loop, running through a multi-position rotary switch, giving me alternate flying finishes.

I've got a number of those, a couple broken from the track piece but still working I'm going to use some alarm/telephone wire to try to extend them so I can relocate.
