Hi Guys,

Resin F1 bodies for the G+ chassis are being sourced from a resin moulder in the States, the modified base body plug is being worked on at the moment, the first batch of 8/10 will be bought on an evaluation basis.

The body will be a generic version of the Lotus F1 (Essex type) issued in the early 80's, that will lend itself to many liveries. It will be strengthened in the vital front and rear wing areas.

QUOTE (Gareth @ 5 Apr 2012, 12:36) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Really looking forward to getting my set of these bodies. I may have to enlist the help of my artistically skilled clubmates to help decorate them as my paint efforts look worse than elephant paintings!!!

If adopted at AVHORA for use in the G+ championship, which only testing will tell, I guess there will be a great range of period liveries recreated!

Well I know one AVHORA member is already producing some amazing work so will be ideally placed to work on these new bodies for people as well.

I do hope it is introduced but even if it isn't I'll still have my set for 4 lane G+ racing at home.

Tony, what is the defiant years for the G+ liveries we allowed? From which date to which date? Just so can start planning which liveries I may consider having.

The Aurora G+ was made from 1976 to 1983, the shape that is being made is from the 80-83 period approximately

Because that would be like saying that any Le Mans livery ever could be allowed on any body type at the 6 hour race. Its not in keeping with the series.
