Mid month November sees the last race ever in the Cr*p Porsche Cup.
After that our fleet of six Porsche cars will be retired forever.
So we are giving you a chance to own your own piece of slotcar history.
After the race you will have the opportunity to buy your own Cr*p Porsche!
Each poorly detailed car stands as testament to 1970s low build quality.
And because non of you morons are capable of completing even a single race lap all tyres & motors are still fresh!
At a price of only £5 each the management at Britains Worst Slot Club are sure that these delightful little cars are something that both you & your family will treasure for generations to come!
Cheers,
Kev.

There's nothing wrong with those old Porsches.

They just need stripping down, mould lines removed, and repainting.

Bit of lube where needed.

New tyres (F1 rears on the front were never a good idea).

Keep them magless and they are great fun to drive. Biggest smile around all types of curves providing there are borders to slide on.

You need to be able to drive but they are so much fun compared to modern magnetically clamped cars.

They are never going to be fast - medium pace is best you can hope for, but if you get a matched pair it makes for very entertaining racing.

Here's one I refurbished earlier...

It cost me £3 from a bucket of c**p at a stall at Gaydon in May. I had one already from way back so now I have a pair of grin-inducers.

Just got to chip them now

Have to agree these old Porsches do have a certain charm. Here's my favourite one bought new many years ago. I lowered it a little, added some lead weight and fitted a set of SCX Fuch wheels. It does go pretty well now.

Nice pics lads!
The Cr*p Porsche Cup has been great for NERCS, but next year we have the Flat Cap Series to look forward to.

Lovely pics you guys, its great what you have done with these Porsches. But Nercs carp Porsches run as is are just that. Truely carp. Apart from the one that DD glued the motor in, and I trued up the tyres without anyone looking lol. not that that ever helped me, I was too busy chatting when lots were allotted, so always missed out. I think Ron got that one most of the time.

Anyhow, I'd love to see these old piles of sh..turned into wonderous grid beaters by the likes of Dave Wisdom et al.

Hope to see you all on Weds.

Al.
