Are you referring to Comic themed thingies like: paint schemes vs body styled
As mentioned by Jairus & Steve. Various designs have surfaced over the years and these guys and others have painted up a bunch.. Comic book theme work well with Thingie based bodies- viva the Revolution

Well, I guess if we wanted to start a new Thingie category of "Cartoon Cars" we could start with these two:

They do loosely represent real cars but, I always thought of them as "cartoonish" versions of the real thing which to some could be considered "Thingies."

That would of course, be up to the Thingie "Emperor" whoever that is.

Hi Z , you could probably add those Mako cars into this catagory , and those Testors Alfa Romeos , and a host of others !!!!!! We really do need to classify other cars into some sort of catagory , close to Thingies ---- I bought it up a while back , and got no bites ! Hope we can kick it off , because we have basically all that is out their in original form . We also have the original modern design bodies , and scratchbuilt stuff , but , we have no almost Thingie class at all --- and in truth , there are many original issue cars out there , which are slotted into inappropriate classes ! Zig

Z - thanks for the great email !!!!!!
