After some frustrations with another forum I've decided to return to my European Roots. Being several thousand miles from my birthplace and the center of action for both Motorsports and Slot Cars means depending on the Internet and or long plane rides, bleary-eyed Sundays and cutting through the chafe of living in the NASCAR nation. Thank God for my books, TNF and Slot Forum.

I'm afraid I've given up on the other board, as the scratchbuilding section seems to have all but dried up. Great shame as a lot of people there had some interesting things to say.

Personally, I have no problem with any group-specific areas. I like the fact that, here on SF, we have been able to enjoy discussions on very specific, limited-interest topics - the 60's F1, for example. The fact we can do that here is a tribute to the quality of the posts and people particpating. Quite frankly.... SF rocks!... and we can accomodate a lot of interest-specific groups here, I'm sure!
