Hi everyone.

I don't know if this topic had been discussed before but I'm just wondering if it is possible to adapt the bodies of these kit cars onto a running slot car chassis. Let's say putting a Revell Merc CLK body onto a Scalextric Merc CLK chassis? Or any other combination? Many thanks guys!

Yes, it has been discussed before.

take a look into the "scratchbuilding" area.

There is a post comparing the three DTM Revell kits to existing RTR models and stating which chassis could fit them.

If I remember well, the best fitting choices were the SCX chassis.

The most interesting post is the following " Revell Easy Kits - the DTM reviews.., Product Guide " on page 12. Thanks Swiss' for the review !

hi

scx chassis???? i don't know but my audit TT revel is afraid by nobody in the same category ! i use a slot it adaptable chassis but it's easy to put the motor in the revel chassis : what is more difficult is to adapt a dixation between chassis and body to allow multiples fixation/ opening... (montage/demontage en francais)

with the slot it chassi, i use part of the chassi fixed with superglue

have a look in the forum for the post here : post in this forum

and have a look in my site for the full story of this scratch building :
www.miniend.fr.st (scratch next audit TT DTM)

try it!!
