I've started to make a digital rallycross track, so I have been scanning the interwebs to look for a good selection of rally cars to run and one car that has caught my eye is the Revell Audi Quattro S1 (Pikes peak/race of champions), but was wondering if its any good, and if its one of those brands which is very difficult to chip!

And is there such a place where I can get this car for cheap-ish? The cheapest on ebay is from Hong Kong for around £70, which I'd rather not pay, but if I have too...

I've got the Revell Quattro, as it comes in the box it's quite a poor running car, it's overpowered has tall skinny wheels and the guide isn't deep enough, they can be made to run quite well if you change the motor, wheels and guide but they still aren't brilliant.

I think I paid about £10 for mine brand new off EBay, they generally go for under £20.
If you want something that runs well and doesn't cost a fortune get a Ninco Focus, Top Slots and Trains have them on special offer at the moment.

you should not let people put you off what is a great looking car i bought one and at first regreted it but with a bit of modification now go's well two thing i did was to change the tyres for a more low profile type then add a bit of weight to the car in the centre towards the front end there is also another thing you could attempt that is to put in an msc moti chassis at £30 you should get a great car + 4wd but that is up to you i am pleased with the performance of mine and it did not cost a fortune good luck whatever you decide
