Hi all,
The best laid plans of mice and men...
I'd decided to do a cheap upgrade on my old Revell Quattro. Pulled out all the stock running gear and fished out spare Slot.It axles, motor and inline gears.
I got everything looking about right, popped the motor in and... locked almost solid.
The problem is that Slot.It inline gears are meant to sit horizontally to be true. The Revell's engine is tipped downwards towards the rear, so the mesh is binding between crown and pinion. I tried the Slot.It crown with the Revell pinion - no good.
I've seen Revells with Slot.It gears and was wondering how did you fix it, please?
