These do look interesting and definitely have a novelty value. They will be top sellers in Germany. They look very Team Slot who up until now have been the kings of classic saloon racing cars.

What would be the equivalent for a car of British origin I wonder?

Is the Hillman Imp really that quirky?

Its about time some of the manufacturers had a look at RallyCross as this form of motorsport is overlooked by all slot car manufacturers and yet it possibly is the form of motorsport that most closely resembles slot car racing and is great fun to watch on TV as it offers very close racing combined with spectacular race action.

The fact is any European saloon car of the NSU period if produced by a mass manufacturer would be considered quirky because it is sadly all too rare an event.

The Americans get the Mustang and Camaro.
