OK, these been out for a while now.

How do they compare to other GT2 revos ?

Any tuning tips ?

I plan to use the mclaren in the next revoslot race.
I assume that the setup is done properly.
My favorite car is still the Marcos.
Followed by Supras, F40, Porsche GT2, (Porsche GT1)
I don't own a viper and no CLK, 333, GT One.

Revos take quite a while to run and the quality control is bad...... its like a lottery with gears, wheels and tyres

Ill be running mine in over the next few months. Ive done ok with tyres and rims being round(ish) on my mclaren so ill keep everyone posted...

Ah ok, I do the following:

1. Desemble every part
2. Straighten every metall part by hand
3. Clean ball bearing
4. Use a dagtool to align the bearings
5. Glue in the ball bearing
6. Replace the gears if they dont mesh
7. Let the motor run @3,5v for 5-12h
8. Replace the guide (routed track or carrera)
9. True front tires
10. Varnish front tires if allowed
11. Put scaleauto SC2014 sponge tires at the rear

With the supra I found reducing the chassis float with a good quality tape was a good start!

Interesting. I always like to have plenty of chassis float. Maybe that is depending on the Grip level. I never used tape to control chassis float.
I really need to understand how that works.

I flip the brass shoulder nuts over and pop a silicone 'O' ring in the hole.

Back the body screws off just enough that the chassis can float freely and put a strip of tape over the screws to stop them vibrating loose.
