Remember seeing them on track in period, though they didn't go to LM in 97, after their performances in 98 and 99 I wonder if they thought they shouldn't have bothered.
I shall be getting one, the 97 cars were run by a private team in 98, so that's another livery for Revo to do.
Got the 97 JB racing #29 LM 911gt1 on order and waiting to see what the next F40 liveries are.

I saw the annoucement of their next models today. The Escort is promising... The 2002 as well though I would have preferred different wheel arches for that one

Awesome. I assume that the spectacular #12 Original Teile with the engine livery will follow. Revoslot loves to produce cars from that era which is great. I hope they do the Jaguar XJ220 TWR Unipart or Martini. This car was done by Scalextric about 25 years ago . Anyone remember that one?

I think they (Revo and BRM) have gone for a more modern restoration BMW 2002 that races currently in Europe

Yes indeed and it does not fit the logic they had so far. For instance, the Originale Teile livery was not used in the 70's. If it is genuine, it comes from historic races.

I guess they'll do the inevitable, and barely excusable, Repsol and Martini tat to eek out the returns on the moulding. Sigh.

But if that's what it takes to get a nice D2 livery....
I am with you - don't car for the fantasy liveries. I can see a place for them as a house class or shop class.

I guess there is not much point making a mould for a car if you can only sell one or two liveries.

I hope they do that blue one pictured above. It will be stunning.

I have the Scaley version of the car - would like to see someone do a better one in a real racing version. I remember how disappointed I was after I saw some photos of the 1:1 version.
