Are they any good runners? I have several recent revos and the gear noise/chassis ratting is still too much.
I feel the same with the Revoslot transmission, too noisy.
So, I've switched the 3mm axle to a 3/32 with either NSR or Slot.it gear system.
The cars have run for hours, no issue. And since the swap, they run very smoothly...and silent.

Here the NSR crown and pignon on the F40:

I'll try the same on the Alpha, once I receive them.

Looking at my one I've just noticed a problem, I use the extended screws/nuts on the chassis mounts, the Alfa has 2 fixings on the front section and 2 on the rear section, both front & rear connect directly to the body..... so you cant get the chassis 'float' that makes Revoslot cars handle

Why not use a RevoSlot S-419A spur gear instead of changing the whole rear end out?
Everyone seems to overlook this gear when they complain of noisy drivetrain. It sure quieted my noisy TTS Escort.

I’m not convinced they are noisy enough to warrant throwing parts in the bin. Sure I had a mesh issue but a reset of the motor mount fixed it. There’s also lapping in the gears with toothpaste or valve seating paste, alternatively the ever risky running a bit close to a cigarette lighter. Mind you I used to club race Ninco anglewinders too so I may have hearing damage…

Anyway my three guys are now all up and running nicely.

Interesting. The Revo looks the more impressive but the Autoart looks like the Alfa. I've had just about every full size version of this car and it just feels right

Mine won't even see a track until it's set up.

Glued/trued is job #1, then deep guide, gearmesh, body rock.
