Greetings, thought I'ld share some pics of my track. I have always like the graphic logo for the home depot brand name RIDGID and incorporated it as a theme. The rock bluff/ridge (get it?) is very similar to the northern california, southern oregon landscape.
(Never posted pics before, so if no photo please delete this post till i figure things out)

Hi Speedkilt,

no pictures have appeared unfortunately.

You need to find a site such as photobucket and upload them to there. Then, take the URL (the http:... bit) and stuff this into your thread. If you press the insert image icon (looks like a postcard in the reply menu) and paste the URL ater this the picture will be automatically downloaded when somebody accesses the thread.

Looking forward to seeing your results.

Hey thanks for the advice and instruction. I think this will work. These photos are the most recent.

I'll take some close ups of the scenery, as with most tracks, it is a work in progress. Track is about 70 feet and is built upon a 5x9 foot ping ping table with addition 4x8 plywood table. The "ridge" end is 6 inches higher and that really helps to establish the right geometry of the sweeping R3 turn.

Looks like a low clearance under the bridge... I guess the big tow truck wont be doing laps any time soon then

I took some more detailed photos, hope these show how much eye candy i tried to include in the design. I think i spent as much time visualizing the lay out and features as i spent actually building the scenery. Anyway, hope you like.

SpeedKilz,
Great track, Great use of space, Great use of Homies,Great Photos,Great Water Fall, Great all round

Welcome to the Forum

Have you thought of removing the base section of the powerbase so you could have it the other side of the track and see what it says, yet still run the same direction

Snap same bit missing!

Hey thanks for the feedback.

bleep - yeah the powerbase pointing inward is pain to read. I want the cars to go in a particular direction. Is it possible to have them go from left to right, as looking from the controller stations, and have the power base pointing out as you suggest? And thanks for the kind words. Its my first track and really never done any scenery. I used the Woodland products and really love doing it. I wish I had the space to start another track (don't we all
)

The cars can travel opposite direction to the PB no problem, the only thing that might cause problems is getting it to read lap times etc.
Space to start another ??? lol, greed ! some of us wish we had space to build one

I am sure you can unscrew it and extend wires so that it goes on the other way round I think it was sax0607 has removed his and has it elsewhere on the side of his table.

Wait I am sure whoever it was will post here.

I have looked for photos but can't find them doing a search on Power Base is pointless!
