Next working parties will be the usual club nights of Tuesday and Thursday.
Mick T and Steve plan to be there all day Tuesday working on the Raceway so if you are free go along early and help out.
Next weekend we will be there Saturday and maybe Sunday if enough of you can make it.

We might just manage that on the Raceway.
Had a problem with the braid supplier sending the wrong thickness of braid.
This has now been returned and replaced but I don't know if this new batch is the correct stuff.

Scale track may take a little longer but is not too far away now.

Ed has done more work on the Slostox track and that could be ready in a couple of weeks.

To get it all finished we need everyone to tun up and help.

Next work parties Tuesday and Thursday evenings and next Saturday.

Hi Mick,

Went up the club today with Steve and managed to route the slots on the Slotstox track and put a final screed on the concrete at the bottom of the stairs, SO ALL PLEASE NOTICE THE PLANK ACROSS THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS--- PLEASE USE IT AND DON'T STAND ON THE SCREED, it will need a few days to set and harden off.

Will see you tomorrow night.

Welcome back.
I'll be there at around 7.30.
Mick T often gets there a bit earlier than me.
Gavin is away so you will have to wait for one of us to open up.
Please come if you can as I need to speak with you about the possibility of re-scheduling Double Trouble.

Saturday 21st July.
I will be there at around 10am.
Mike T can't make it this week and Gavin is away so I will be opening up.
I plan to stay till at least 5pm.
Anyone who can make it at some time during the day will be very welcome.

It was great to get back from my holiday and see the progress that has been made. The tracks look fantastic and I think in future years we'll all reap the benefit of havng made sure everything is done to such a high standard.

Raceway is just about ready for track painting and braiding. SlotStox just needs another coat of paint and braiding. Scalex track is fully routed, what's left is painting braiding, borders, and the electrics...then we have to clean up


Matt, surely there is a topical gel you can apply? Or find some other use for them fingers?

Usual work parties on Tuesday and Thursday evenings this week.
Steve T was planning to paint the Raceway today. Don't know how he got on yet.
There may not be any work parties next weekend. I'll post later in the week about that.

Matt,
We certainly won't be racing on Thursday but may get the braiding finished.
Will then look at connecting it all up to the power supply.
