Sorry guys, i can't make tonight. I've got a cracked visor and wouldn't want to ride in the rain. It's p*ssing down here in Bedford at the moment. I've ordered a new visor and had hoped it would arrive by today but unfortunately not.

I should be able to make Tuesday & Thursday next week........hopefully.

You need to pass your car test.
The best days of road going Motor cycles has gone (been there, done that).
You travel on the roads these days to get somwhere, eventually!

Hi Bill,

I got my car licence years ago but I just don't enjoy driving and haven't owned a car for years. You spend so much time in traffic jams. Everythin's the wrong way round, you change gear with your hand and use your foot for the clutch, Weird!!!!

I do sometimes borrow Jen's car ( about 200 miles a year) but she uses it Thursday evenings. It's a street KA convertible, I look like Big Ears driving Noddy's car

I'm still enjoying my best years of Road going motorcycles and plan to continue doing so as long as i can physically manage.

Hi all,
The Stox track is now starting to come together.
The braid is finally starting to go down,
with luck & a bit of help it could be ready to run within a week or two.
So if any slotstockers fancy getting their hands dirty,
I should be there Thursday & possibly Saturday too.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

The club is now officially back up and running, having held it first weekly race on both the raceway and scale track with great success and the innaugral slotstox meet is planned for the 8th Sept.

Anway, I, on behalf of all club members and future racers, express my thanks to everyone whom gave up their time to bring the club from rubble beginnings to the splendid facility we have now.
