On the 18th of December thomas will, on behalf of the DSCF ( Germanys largest slotforum), be holding a party at Swiss Race Bahn to release the 2004 slot version of the popular resin kit from last year.

Also in attendance for the weekend will be Ulli Andree, who is the driver of the real car, maybe he brings one with him for test drive round Egg?? ( OK - dream mode off)

Everyone is welcome to join us for the party which WILL involve lots of racing although quite what will be raced is still under wraps apparently. However if I know thomas we should have plenty of 1/24 scale cars to trash...err....I mean drive serenely......(cough) and of course there will be something special arranged on Mugello for the evening.

Anyway, anyone interested please contact thomas via PM or email. or myself and I will pass the info on.

Should be a good time again and some of you were looking for a good excuse?

FYI guys - -race format depends on the number of attendees - but for shure there are races in crash-and-burn format! With various cars.
Would be great to meet you there!

What are the body changes between the 2003 and 2004 Volvo kit?

Edo - I am sure anything can be arranged if the turn out is high enough. No one here at Swiss Race Bahn has any 'thingies' they would play with in public though as far as I know.

@ Swiss - modified front including new front spoiler, new wheel arches, new rear spoiler, you might compare them at the roll-out-party. Also new photo-etched parts, new decals.... lot's of small things. And there are complete new decals - and IMHO the 2004-design especially in yellow/anthracite looks great!

@ Edo - -open 1/32 is ok - and thingies also - but you've to bring 4 of them as we dont have such "cars"

Remember - there is a power limitation of 3A per lane on Suzuka and I won't burn the power supplies - so only modest motors

And bring your running Volvo with you! NC5 or any other NCX allowed!
There is no serious racing planned - but a lot of fun! Maybe the best driver of the day might get something - also the best looking scratch-built scale car - any scale!
