Hi guys,

First: results in post No. 21.

Due to popular acclaim, here's a few photos from the 2022 Roncole Verdi vintage slot car meeting, organized by the ECA club from Turin, along with the local club in Roncole Verdi (somewhere between Parma and Cremona).

Both 1/32 and 1/24 races were on the routed track. The event is for commercially made slot cars, although some modifications are allowed, and you can run anything you want but there are penalty points for scratch-built cars, vac-form bodies, etc. There's also a rarity factor which adds points for up to 4 cars in each scale.

I'll start out with a general view of the tracks and the pitstands and swap meet part, just to give you an idea.

thanks for sharing these pics with us.
Is this BRM base/club?
And is the darker 6-lane track a plastic track?

Very nice, thanks! 🥰
The guy with the dark blue Cox 1/24 scale Cheetah, cheated! He put a "2D" chassis under that body and it never came that way. Was that legal? 🧐

P, I think that was actually considered as a Cheetaracha! In any case, rules about "originality" are a bit flexible sometimes. And as long as you run the same type of motor (16D, 36D, etc.) you can hop up the motor.

Can't seem to post the EXcel results sheet, so here are the top three:

Races:
1/32
Giovanni Montiglio
Disi Melotti
Francesco Forleo

1/24
Giovanni Montiglio - Revell Lotus 30
Paolo Dapretto - Monogram McLaren Elva
Francesco Forleo - Russkit Lotus 40

Concours
1/32
(don't have these for now - the Tokyo Plamo Jaguar XK120 won)

1/24
Riccardo Chiriatti - Tamiya Jaguar D Type
Paolo Dapretto - Monogram McLaren Elva
Disi Melotti - MPC Dodge Charger

Yep, the 6 laner is plastic, Carrera I assume. Not sure what you mean by "BRM base/club"... I think there is some connection to BRM.
What I mean is whether BRM has some connection with this club. For instance, I know that Giovanni Montiglio's home club is Brescia Corse and you can find some posters and other thunderslot related products around the club premises.
