OK lads an important anouncement

Saturday 28th July

Will be clubroom roof recovering
and rubbish removal

We need all hands to the pump to sort out our future developments

We have to repair the roof on our clubroom
to carry out our plans for moving facilities at our club forward
(ie new track)
and help the social club committee to
make improvements to the foyer.

Can all club members make sure that they are free to help.

Matt will be there at 9am, so I`ll open the doors then. Subject to the weather gods smiling on us.

Chris has confirmed that he will be at the club just after 9am saturday with the materials and trailer for the rubbish. The weather is good so we should be able to do the whole roof in one go.

See you at 9. I hope some of the members who live considerably closer than me will make an effort to turn out and help the club move forward! Serious loss of brownie points with SWIMBO, should be our only day off together in two weeks.

A fantastic amount of work achieved today by our core members, the rubbish has gone, we have a third more space to build the new routed track in what will now be a dry room.

To Chris, Martyn, Mike, Reece, Matt, Jon, Andy and Russell a MASSIVE THANK YOU for your time, effort and commitment to the future of our club.

This Thursday the entrance roof will be weatherproofed (from 6.30pm). Matt will reinforce the sandbags and Russ will continue with his essential track maintenace before racing commences.

Thanks once again to our club construction team Chris, Mike and Matt for finishing off the roof, we look forward to a few years leak free.

Now the fun can start with the freed up back room and new routed track.

Big thanks also to Russell for persevering with the track maintenance and hopfully now the timing sensors are sorted.

That well known a-capella ensemble "The Wye Valley Folkers" give a rousing rendition of "I hope you haven't put your nuts in that sandbag"

I`ve had an email back from Bloodstone Border Morris and they`re going to lend us these two apprentices for stage two.

After mondays heavy rain we`ll find out tonight if it all worked
