Round 15 takes us to our fourth oval race of the year, the ten lane Indianapolis Oval where the "Crash and Your Out" format used on all five of our oval meetings now has a cult following. The tension up at the front mounts as the 10 Race 'A' Final draws to a close, one slip up and defeat can be snatched from the jaws of victory. The atmosphere is absolutely electric with the chance of a new DHORC winner always an option.

No problem Lee, thanks for letting me know, we look like we will have a pretty full house as so many enjoy this form of racing, could be a late night, the tipping point will be if we go over 27 racers, that would add another 45 mins to the evening!

Our fourth oval race of the year the10-lane Indy 500 was run on the hottest night of the year. Despite the blue skies and 20plus degree temperatures we still had a healthy 24 racer turn out.

The nine strong Junior 'A' Final was won by Championship leader James Mellor from Jacob Pateman and Zach Roythorne.

Lee Pateman drove a very controlled Adult 'A' Final to take his third win of the year ahead of Phil Rees who pipped Cliff Roythorne for second in the last of ten three minute races. Neil Chattle won his first Final at DHORC, the 'B' Final, and very nearly finished sixth overall only dropping to ninth in the last race.
