Phil Rees won both the 'B' and 'A' Final to take his second victory of the year at the Korea circuit used for the first time at DHORC. Jacob Pateman beat Championship leader James Mellor to win his sixth race of 2012.

The results were as follows:-

Adam Hall who came second in the Junior class at the Donington Park Ford RS Owners Club National Day slot car event surprised us by turning up on Tuesday night and joining!

Matt Blood, who came to the previous meeting joined at DHORC 421

Simon Randall who won the Adult class at the RSOC National Day event, together with his daughter Olivia, also arrived just before racing commenced

We again had a very good turn our with 24 racers on the scene

Five year old Lucas Blake ran in his fifth meeting as a Member, being our youngest ever winner when he won at the Rockingham Oval when three!

It was F1 Finals this week, with differing reaction times in evidence

General views were that the new track was liked, although handling was a must through the tricky final section

When the power was switched off at the end of the 'C' Final Geoff Peach was in the lead, when the cars came to a rest the race went to Ryan Blake. So cruel considering they are team mates!

Lee Pateman, James Mellor and Geoff Peach continue to lead the main Championship

The midfield in the Adult team Championship is very close!

Cheers
