Last Saturday we raced the second round of the 2012 Group C Championship. There will be 6 rounds throughout the year ,worst score discarded.

Rules were derived from the ANSI(Italian Championships)sets of rules and modified,control motor(Boxer 2 closed can angle,.5 offset),hand-out tires(F22-2 sets for the whole championship),minimum body weight,etc.

Race format is as follows:
-qualifying best lap out of a 1 minute run on a randomly chosen,before the start, lane,this time green.
-4,one each lane, timed heats of 33 laps
-additinal championship points given to best qualifying lap,fastest race lap

The cars at starting positions

The big bang,Giannis Nerantzis and Giannis Fokianos,both driving the new Lancias LC2/85,both on their second year of slot racing grab the first 2 spots,the usual suspects Dimitris Dimas and Giacomo Androvitch managing only 4th and 7th respectively,i manage only 11th with a borrowed car.All cars within 1 second the 1st seven whithin .2"
