Hi,
I was looking up some information for Early Bird GP cars in my old Model Maker magazines (I just knew there had to be articles on the Lancia-Ferrari and Bimotore in there somewhere), so... since I had to look through them all anyway, I made up an index of all the scale plans from the early 50s to the last Model Maker in March 64.... I already had indices from Model Cars and the US magazines, although these are not on disk. ..
Anyway, I now have a file (in .doc table form) of this information if anybody is interested, and can photocopy or scan info if you're not in a hurry. I also indexed some of the main articles, but not systematically.
Quick question: in March 1958, as rail racing really became established, the plans began to state they were in actual 1/32 scale. What were they before? They seem about 1/32, but not exactly, and it kind of varies according to the car involved....
cheers,
Don
