I am reworking my track to include a (dummy) Pit Lane, but my space is very tight.
As I am not able to get to a shop to check the sizes until next month, can some kind person tell me the footprint dimensions of the old Classic Scalex Pit Stop and Control Tower?

Thanx in anticipation,
Cheers,
Isetta

Not counting the width of the stairs, the control tower itself is 11.9 cm x 11.3 cm. These dimensions include the protrusion for the step in front of the door and a gutter below a water or electrical pipe. Without the protrusions the tower is 10.6 x 11.3 - you could cut them off with a dremel without losing too much.

The stairs add an additional 2.8 cm to the side that is 11.9 cm wide.

Many thanks Paul,

It is the front to back dimension that is constrained.
That Tower now looks a bit tight, but now I have the dims I can draw and ponder.
A bit of surgery on the building or track margins I think.
Cheers, Tom.
