Motor is S-can Mabuchi. It has small traction magnets, so it slides around - not glued to the track like the latest F1s. Still very controllable with magnets removed. The front axle is loose and flops around in the chassis, with resultant noise.
There is another body style that uses the same chassis. Some of the cars seem to be based on F3000, such as the Petrobas livery.
