Chevrolet Corvette C6R GT2 No.4 ALMS 2010 livery

The Scalextric model
Joining our ever popular GT series cars, the Corvette C6R is the latest American Le Mans Series car to add to the GT stable. Issued in both fully detailed (C3189) and super-resistant (C3185) formats the car will suit all requirements.
With this model (C3185), enjoy the car's durable and lightweight build for more speed. Softer tyres are also used on this car with a magnet of reduced strength which gives a more pleasing racing experience.

History
For the last 8 years Corvette Racing has dominated the GT1 category of the American Le Mans Series. Since they began the race spec Corvette has won at the 24 Hours of Daytona, the 12 Hours of Sebring and the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and since 2005 have been competing the C6R against world-class grand touring cars from automakers like Aston Martin. In 2009 the factory backed racing effort chose to step down into the GT2 category in order to compete with the same cars on the track that the production model competes with in show rooms.
The Corvette race cars are powered by 6.0 litre GM small block that is based on the 7.0 litre LS7R that powered the outgoing GT1 version. The engine output is a relatively conservative 470 HP.

Might need to invest in some thicker lenses!

Smart enough car with the full interior, my only question is why is the article about the 'crash and bash' car, with the full interior tagged on at the end - surely it should be the other way round?
