I have bought a Scalextric Challenger and want to get it hooked up to my track. I use a non-standard controller plug on my layout and want to make my own Smart Key.

Does anyone know what is inside the Smart Keys or how I make my own?

scalextric say it is just a bridge - ie linking wire, as if the thottle is on full. Nothin fancy inside at all

That's right - just a full throtle loop.

digital works as pulses on or off, you just feed a positive in and the chips will do the rest
