Set C1140 is based upon an X3 layout. See catalogue or the set descriptions on the website for details.
Any amount of Lane Change track pieces can be included in a layout.
If all connections are good then very large circuits should be no problem for most Scalextric fans.

I hope you enjoy Sport Digital which is released in October 2004.

Happy Racing,

Adrian"

All/most sites declare release to be in November.....

Scalextric have made changes to the release dates for digital.

Initially all products were quoted as a November release.

Some of the products are now being quoted as October releases, with others being changed to December and the remainder still in November.

Whether we actually see any of the products in October is another question, as the release dates are based on the dates the stock is due in to their warehouse in the UK. There is often a weeks delay between this date and when the stock reaches retailers, especially in the case of brand new releases.

We have an up to date release schedule for Scalextric on our website here. This is updated regularly as we are informed of changes.

Scalextric haven't even mentioned Sport World since Toy Fair, so it is safe to assume we will not be seeing it until 2005 - probably not before the 2nd quarter either (though that is just an educated guess on my part). The Sport World product range, and prices have not been confirmed yet either.

Scalextric only deal with products due in the current year, so we won't have much in the way of information on products due next year (prices, products, release dates) until January or late December at the earliest.

Disappointed to hear about Sport World. Obviously all the talk is about digital at the moment and Hornby are desperately competiting against the other major manufacturers to get their product to market as fast as possible.

Personally I have always been more excited by Sport World and think the potential of the concept is huge. Guess I will have to rewrite my Christmas list!!

QUOTE (Xlot @ 22 Sep 2004, 13:12)Just got it confirmed by the Italian importer : SSD will be on show this week-end at the Milan Hobby Expo
Hope to hear news about this, Beppe.

Electrotren (Spanish importer) doesn't confirm digital show at the "Saló del Hobby de Barcelona" next November, 5th-7th due to release dates. But after this schedule change, most problably they get something from Scalextric to be seen.
